Olympics has always been seen as the final destination. The place where you bask in eternal glory as you watch your flag rise and hear your anthem echo throughout the arena with billions of people around the world watching your close-up shot. It's hard to have fun and enjoy the Games.
However, in 2012, Carly Rae Jepsen's iconic Call Me Maybe went viral, as did this video, which showed the US Swimming Team goofing out and bobbing their heads to the tune while some lipsync-ed. I'm hereby giving this video a 9/10 rating as it was absolutely fantastic and did a great job in promoting both the US Swimming Team and Olympics. It made the Games appear so much more fun and stress-free, and from the video, viewers may feel like a trip to the Olympics resemble any ordinary trip overseas with friends. That 1 point deduction was a result of the lack of screen time for America's favourite Baltimore Bullet and for the lack of introduction of the team members.
Sometimes, we just have got to relax and enjoy the journey. By focusing on the road ahead of you, you forget to look out of the window and see the lush greenery lining the sides of the road. The result isn't all that is important sometimes. Stop and look around.
