Okay guys, these are some recommendations from a "super star with five nerds?" graduation trip. If you have difficulties in deciding what food to try in Taiwan, I have consolidated some useful food itinerary based on my own graduation trip experience.

Public Transport: To get to Fengjia Night Market, get onto any buses that go to the Fengjia University stop (逢甲大学). Some buses are 5, 25 and 35 and you can take them from Taichung train station and Yizhong street ( the bus stop is called Taichung University of Science and Technology, 國立臺中科技大學). It will take you about 40 minutes.
Alternatively, you can take a cab. From Taichung train station, it will cost about NT200 – 250 and take about 20 minutes.

Take the train to Ruifang Station (瑞芳站) at the Taipei Railway Station (TRA). Alight at Ruifang Station and buy tickets for the Pingxi Line (平溪支線). Take the train to Jiufen Railway Station. Rides are unlimited on the Pingxi Line.
